Incredible Websites for Incredible People

A website is asking me to verify my website, how do I do that?

Many websites will ask you to add a meta tag to verify that you really are the owner of your website. Snap! allows you to add meta tags to your website header. The feature is hidden by default because most of our users do not need it.

On your Snap! Toolbar, click on Admin then Settings. This gives you a long page with all the features available on your website. Search for the one that says Site verifications. Click on it, it is a link.

Once there, click on the Add verification and then follow the instructions. It is usually easier to add the meta tag, but the system also allows you to create a file (Google often ask you for a file by default, they also let you add a meta tag.)
